ABOUT EKLEKTIK

Eklektik Creative graphic design studio has been in operation for more than five years and during that time has established an outstanding reputation for its unique ‘artistic aesthetic’ approach to design. This approach means that quite often we will hand paint a lot of features, which are scanned in and enhanced digitally. We use watercolour mostly for the hand painted effect you see in a lot of our designs. The result is that our work is always 100% unique., with a beautiful artistic look and feel.

The two managing partners of the graphic design studio are Alex Woolcott and Yossy Obadia. Alex has an Arts Degree from Sydney University and a Diploma in Design from the University of the Arts, London. Prior to establishing Eklektik she has worked in a number of senior design roles in Australia and Canada, her most recent position being Creative Director for a major Canadian homewares company with responsibility for their showroom on 5th Ave, New York.

With close to 30 years experience in graphic design Yossy’s expertise brings creative concepts through to print-ready artwork to Eklektik Creative. An expert on the intricacies of packaging and branding, Yossy has produced many projects in a wide range of industries. A graduate of design from Dawson College, Montreal Yossy worked as art director for Multimax, one of Montreal’s first multimedia companies before establishing the very successful Blink Graphix design studio.

We are not a run of the mill design studio. Many graphic design companies create off the shelf, ‘cookie cutter’ designs which may be low in cost but which fail to establish any sense of distinctiveness or quality. We are certainly not one of them. We provide personalised service and really give our all to each design job we take on. Each brand, logo, pack design or website is special and is hand crafted with lot’s of care and love from its creators! And we have been told many times that this is evident in our work.

We have had clients actually shed a few tears when they receive the first proof and this for us makes what we do all worthwhile.
